An Overview
What is DMA Cares ?
DMA Cares is an initiative by the stakeholders of Dayawati Modi Academy including parents, teachers, students and Alumni. It aims about social, cultural and emotional wellbeing of the society with a global vision of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’
DMA Cares is dedicated to support:

First Initiative under DMA Cares Empathy
The covid-19 has impacted lives across the globe. At DMA itself 12 students lost their parent(s) which has adversely impacted the life of these children and they are not only emotionally disturbed but also need financial handholding to pursue their education. DMA cares has come forward to support the cause.

Project empathy is backed by DMA Alumni who wish to payback to their alma-mater by supporting the unfortunate children by adopting their education and extending their emotional support by being there for them when they need it the most.
EMPATHY - The inspiration & Call
Dear All
The whole world has been reeling under the impact of a pandemic and the loss of lives and livelihoods has certainly been the greatest loss of the century. As a teacher, I have taught, counselled and discussed everything under the sun with my students but in these uncertain times I also needed to learn a shocking lesson….to deal with the loss of students whom I’d taught and seen them grow up and fly away from the nest to span the unlimited skies. Their achievements had brought pride and tears of joy and my heart filled with blessings for them. But sadly when I heard of the shocking demise of some of these dear students I couldn’t summon the required courage to cope and failed to find enough words of consolation for their families. The list is so long and my tears have dried up, words seem empty and my heart goes out to their parents, spouses and young children who will have to live with this grief.
We can’t do much for the departed ones except to pray for them but we can reach out to those who have to live with the loss. We have begun a support system wherein we have adopted the education of children of DMA who have lost their father/ parents due to covid 19.
I’m proud to share that many Alumnae have come forward to join hands with us for this compassionate cause. We will support
these children till they pass out of DMA.
DMAites have always been very supportive as we have seen on this group also…. all members Doctors and others supported humanity… arranging beds, hospitals, medicines and oxygen and saved many lives.

How does it work ?
To support the education of a child you need to give your consent via email to ‘principal@dma1.in’.
Alternately you can fill the following google form:

- You will be contacted by a member of DMA Cares team and will introduce the details of the students
Who need your support in this crucial time.
- You can adopt the education of one or more student(s) and select the options such as full year fee/ half year fee as per your preference.
- You will then be provided the online payment details of the child and you can pay fee by any of the following means:

How does it work ?
First Initiative under DMA Cares Empathy
- The academic as well as activity progress report of the child sponsored by you will be shared on time to time basis.
- You will be awarded with a certificate of honour and your name will be recorded on a special ‘alumni board’ in school. You will also be invited as privileged guests in different functions organized by the school and your profile will also be highlighted on school blog and social platforms.
- The school will be grateful to your for this gesture of supporting the education of the children in the time of special need.
